The police in the United States have used tear gas, fired rubber bullets and made more arrests as anti-Israel protests are gaining momentum on campuses across the country in solidarity with Palestinians in the war-torn Gaza Strip.
More and more universities across the US have joined protest rallies against the months-long genocidal war waged by the Israeli regime against the inhabitants of the besieged Palestinian territory.
Under heavy police presence, anti-Israel protesters chanted and waved Palestinian flags at New York’s Fordham University on Wednesday while riot police massed by the hundreds on the campus of the University of California at Los Angeles, where violent clashes were reported.
At the UCLA encampment, pro-Palestine protesters waved Palestinian flags and pointed strobe lights in the direction of law enforcement forces.
A day earlier, at least ten protesters at an anti-Israel rally were arrested at the University of South Florida campus after the police fired tear gas and rubber bullets against demonstrators, who had arrived at the Tampa campus early in the day with items like wooden shields, umbrellas and tents.
Pro-Palestine chants have been reverberating through multiple universities across the US and as police disperse rallies, more crowded ones are formed elsewhere.
US police nab 300 pro-Palestine students in New York

Protests are sweeping college campuses nationwide after police at the Columbia University – the epicenter of student protests – attempted to clear a pro-Palestine encampment, resulting in the arrest of hundreds of students.
US police stormed several colleges and made more arrests as rallies against Israel’s onslaught against Palestinians in Gaza simmer on campuses. The latest arrests were made at University of Texas, Dallas, where at least 20 students were taken into police custody.
More than 1,500 protesters have been arrested at colleges across the US so far by the police, who have been accused of using brute force against demonstrators.
The current pro-Palestinian encampments are the most widespread and prolonged protest to rock US college campuses since protests against the Vietnam War in the 1960s and 1970s.
The bloody military campaign launched by the Israeli regime on October 7 has so far killed more than 34,500 Palestinians across Gaza, one of the world’s most densely-populated territories.

Alan Dershowitz Claims Slandering The Woman Whom He Allegedly Raped As A Child Is Protected ‘Free Speech’

Accused pedophile and rapist, Alan Dershowitz, is exercising his Jewish Privilege by demanding that a judge dismiss a defamation case filed by one of his victims who claims she was forced to have sex with him when she was a child, according to the Miami Herald:
In New York on Tuesday, Dershowitz argued that his Twitter attacks against Virginia Giuffre, who alleges that Epstein forced her to have sex with Dershowitz when she was underage, are protected free speech. Dershowitz has attacked her on Twitter and other media for years….
Dershowitz has labeled Giuffre “a liar, a perjurer and an extortionist.” His attorney, Howard Cooper, claims that his statements, particularly those on the internet, are not libelous, because they were the same statements he has leveled against Giuffre for many years and were made under “a self-defense privilege,” which grants people the ability to publicly defend themselves against false claims under certain circumstances with some restrictions, according to the Miami Herald.
Cooper argued that since Giuffre failed to sue Dershowitz when he first made comments against her four years ago, she can’t now argue that she was defamed by recent comments by him on Twitter. Since the comments are the same as those in 2015, they are outside the statute of limitations, said Cooper to US District Court Judge Loretta Prescott.
According to New York state law, defamation cases must be filed within a year of the event. New York also has a “single publication rule” which prevents another defamation case from being brought with each publication of the alleged libelous statement, even if it’s repeated on the internet.
The New York Court of Appeals ruled that altering the alleged defamatory content could be considered “republication,” and some courts have also ruled that moving content to different platforms also counts as republication, resetting the statute of limitations.
Dershowitz’s attorneys claim that everything he said is the same as his earlier statements and should be covered by the statute of limitations.
Prescott questioned Cooper on whether New York’s law of defamation gives people the right to repeat potentially libelous statements forever.
“How are the later statements he made a republication?” asked Prescott. “Are you saying that Mr. Dershowitz can keep saying these statements seven days a week, 20 channels a day, forever?”
….Dershowitz’s lawyers claim that Giuffre had said in court papers that she was forced to have sex with Wexner. Dershowitz repeated that charge in public. He claimed that the Boies firm was accusing him of sexually abusing Giuffre in order to extract a settlement from him, under the presumption that Wexner would be afraid that Giuffre would go public with her allegations against him like she did with Dershowitz.
There has been no indication of any settlement with Wexner, who has made no comment about Giuffre’s allegations or Dershowitz’s statements.
The fact that the ultra liberal media, which allegedly is pro-feminist and pro-children, still allows Dershowitz to show his face in public, would seem to suggest that an incredibly powerful cabal of pro-pedophile power brokers, like the Mega Group, are in Dershowitz’s corner, propping him up and telling the media to keep their hands off him.
If we are to believe that Jeffrey Epstein truly did commit suicide instead of being secretly spirited off to a secret location in Israel, then we must believe that Epstein was so distraught that the testimony of his victim, Virginia Guiffre, was so damning and so credible, that he would choose to kill himself rather than face her in court in front of a jury.
And yet by his allegations, Dershowitz is essentially claiming the exact opposite of what his own client’s actions suggest: that the victim lacks any and all credibility.
Dershowitz appears to be America’s new Roy Cohn who was, in Jewish parlance, a “fixer”, a vicious sociopath and sexual degenerate who once infamously said, “I don’t want to know what the law is, I want to know who the judge is.”
